The Children’s Office is a contact for all questions of compatibility of professional life and/or education and parenthood. Its aim is to build expertise, secure knowledge and paß it on to parents and organisations and enterprises:

The Children’s Office supports enterprises and organisations by developing and implementing concepts of compatibility, and thus helps them to establish themselves as spaces for parents (and children), and to develop adequate framework conditions like innovative forms of child care. For academic institutions, we offer a special counselling service.

Specially for parents at universities, the Children’s Office offers the website UniKid, a platform with extensive information and networking opportunities (e.g. parent2parent – the forum for university parents).

Sensitising projects like parents’ images ("Elternbilder" - exposition and brochure) are  to help make parenthood more visible in organisations and enterprises, to raise awareness and animate public discourse.

With its cooperation partners, the Children’s Office develops further projects in reconciliation and is open to new project partnerships in the area „Reconciliableness and Diversity“.
